PUBLISHING PACKAGES:

Class Act Creative offers publishing packages for individual, classroom, all-school and all-district books.

For details, follow the links beneath each description.

Individual Books

Class Act Creative books for individual authors are for young authors only! (Ages 5-12.) What can young authors publish? Anything that fits on 24-36 pages. A picture book. A collection of poems or short stories. A book of jokes. A chapter book. A travel guide. A cookbook. A coloring book. A family history. If your child can think it, write it and draw it, we can publish it.

Classroom Books

Are you a teacher of students in grades K - 6? Class Act Creative classroom books are designed for you. Your book may be about anything! Topics and themes can reflect writing across the curriculum and take the form of poetry, imaginative or fact-based stories, autobiography or biography, reports, travel writing, sports writing, A-B-C books, advice or how-to books, etc. Or a general showcase of your students' best work makes a fine book, too.

All-School Books

Class Act Creative offers a unique product to showcase the art and writing of every student in your elementary school: a LITERARY/ARTS YEARBOOK. This book includes student artwork reduced to yearbook-photo size with a short related piece of writing from every student in your school. It can be a wonderful school keepsake and, if produced each year, a record of each student's artistic, literary and personal development over time. All-School books are also available with our Project Arts RESPECT™ program (see below), which includes assemblies and workshops on two consecutive days and culminates in a trade quality book of student advice illustrated with black and white line drawings. Both of these programs offer opportunities for school fund raising.

All-District Books

District-wide books from Class Act Creative are offered only as a component of our Project Arts RESPECT™ program, which includes two days each of writing and visual arts instruction, in up to five district schools, by children's book author Barbara Jean Hicks. The program addresses themes of identity, empathy, and kindness and culminates in a book of student advice such as Rio school district's Be Wize, Give Love: Kids' Advice on Living Well. (Sample pages available for viewing Fall 2009.) This program offers opportunities for district fund raising.
