FUND RAISING:

Raise funding for an author visit or other school projects with our All-School or All-District Publishing Programs!

A Literary/Arts Yearbook or a Wise Words for the World book of student advice offered through our Project Arts RESPECT program can be a fund-raising opportunity for your school or district that also supports literacy and arts instruction.

The fund raising option allows schools or districts to pre-sell books at the retail rate, purchase copies from Class Act Creative at a discounted bulk rate (100 copies or more), and keep the difference.* Use the funds you raise to host an author visit or for anything you wish!

The books of student advice produced through Project Arts RESPECT often have broader appeal than your school or district community. The fact that every book is assigned an ISBN and is bar coded on the back cover makes it easy to approach your local bookseller or other retailer about selling books on consignment for your school.

*The Set-Up Fee for All-School and All-District Publishing Programs may also be waived or reduced if your school hosts an author visit from children's author and Class Act Creative publisher Barbara Jean Hicks for the current or coming year, or if you've hosted Barbara for a visiting author program in the last two years.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

GRANT FUNDING FOR LITERACY AND THE ARTS

Many companies, organizations and foundations offer grant funding for arts and literacy projects in local schools. We've prepared a Grant Funding document with live links to their web pages where you can find more information and application materials. Target is one of our favorites! If you have your materials gathered, the online application takes all of 20 minutes to fill out. You'll find that many organizations accept applications only at specific times of the year (March, April and May for Target), while others accept applications on an ongoing basis. Take advantage of these great opportunities to fund arts and literacy programs for your school.
